Thomas F.Torrance was Emeritus Professor of Christian dogmatics, University of Edinburgh. He was one of the distinguished theologians of the 20th Century who has written extensively on Trinitarian Theology, on the relationship between Science and Theology, and on the Person and Work of Christ. His work is a balance between neo-Barthian and Reformed theology, and is captured in his numerous works including highly regarded The Trinitarian Faith and The Christian Doctrine of God. Other works include The Mediation of Christ; Space,Time and Incarnation; Trinitarian Perspectives and Space,Time and Resurrection. His most recent publications edited posthumorously by Robert T. Robert T. Walker has degrees in philosophy and theology from Edinburgh University, Scotland. As T. F. Torrance's nephew, Walker has gained an intimate understanding of Torrance's theology, studying under him and hearing these lectures given in person. He currently divides his time between teaching theology at Edinburgh University and teaching outdoor pursuits in Perthshire.He has edited two volumes of T.F. Torrance Atonement: The Person and Work of Christ and Incarnation: The Person and Life of Christ .
