Review:

`David Conville's well-illustrated book is full of good stories: an
invaluable record taking us up to the present day and written with a
charmingly light touch. A great success story'
-- Daily Mail

`A warm and copiously illustrated record of a theatre that has steadily grown from its summer deckchair origins into today's superbly equipped auditorium.'
`If the magic has been sustained for 75 years, it is not only because of the spirit of the place: it is also because of the tenacious optimism of a band of visionaries, all justly celebrated in Mr. Conville's handsome book'.
-- Michael Billington, Country Life

`David Conville's well-illustrated book is full of good stories: an invaluable record taking us up to the present day and written with a charmingly light touch. A great success story' -- Daily Mail
