Synopsis

Well researched book, excellent structure and flow throughout. It includes sections on recent conflicts, such as the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. I enjoyed, the straight from the horse's mouth accounts of operations,along with some great photos, some I've seen published before but lots of unpublished ones. Some chapters covered details of the selection process for both Delta and the SAS. Some great mission planning information and a good section on Worldwide Special Forces, along with the equipment they use. The book finishes off with good chapter on future operations & equipment. The main focus is on US, UK and Australian Special Forces.
