The American Academy of Pediatrics is an organization of 66,000 primary care pediatricians, pediatric medical subspecialists and pediatric surgical specialists dedicated to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. The AAP is the largest pediatric publisher in the world, with a diverse list of resources that includes essential clinical and practice management titles and award-winning books for parents. Russell C. Libby, MD, FAAP, is founder and President of the Virginia Pediatric Group, one of the largest, most innovative, and highly regarded Pediatric practices in the Washington metropolitan area of Northern Virginia. He is a Chair of the Executive Committee of the AAP Section on Home Care, and is an active member of the AAP Committee on Child Health Financing. He is Chief of General Pediatrics at the Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children, a Board member of the Medical Society of Virginia, and serves on a variety of committees and task forces dealing with community school and health issues. He is on clinical faculty at University of Virginia, Medical College of Virginia, and Georgetown University. He has written articles and spoken at national conferences on a variety of topics including Home Care, ADHD, and medical economics. He hosts two medical information television shows in the Northern Virginia Area. Sonia O. Imaizumi, MD, FAAP, has been the Associate Director of Neonatal Services for the Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper in Camden, NJ since 1993. She has also served as the Medical Director of the Mid-Atlantic NIDCAP Training Center as well as the Medical Director of the Neonatal Follow-up Program at Cooper since 1995. Dr Imaizumi is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Camden.
