About the Author

Sharp is Associate Dean of the College of Education at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Higher Education. He has an A.B. in mathematics and an M.S. in secondary education from Indiana University, a graduate Diploma of Education from Durham University in England, where he was a Durham Scholar, and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.

Walter is Associate Professor of Educational Administration at Texas A&M at Corpus Christi. He recieved his B.S. in English education from Indiana University and his M.A.E. and Ed.D. in school administration from Ball State University.

Sharp is a professional writer, educational consultant, and motivational speaker.
