'Help With Your Project' is designed to help students and members of all health care professions to identify and undertake a research project. It guides the reader step-by-step through the processes of planning, carrying out, analysing and reporting the results of a small scale project.
The second edition of this successful text includes two new chapters entitled Ethical Considerations and Planning your Project. The first four chapters consider the types of projects that may be suitable for each individual, given personal, professional and ethical constraints. The book then covers the proposal, planning and management of a project and takes the student through the practicalities of the research process, including literature searching and obtaining new data. The guide concludes with advice on the analysis and presentation of results.

This text is a good basic guide which could be useful both for the novice and as an 'aide-memoire' for those with previous project experience.
Nursing Times of the first edition
I would certainly recommend that this text be included in any undergraduate course in health care which has the requirement for students to undertake an independent project.
