Synopsis
There is more than one solution to any project.
In fact, designers regularly present two or three design options, or comprehensives, to their clients. Although each can present vastly different styles and/or concepts, each should be equally responsive to the project at hand. In other words, more than one solution can be appropriate. Often, the selected concept has more to do with a client's personal taste than it does with the effectiveness of the design itself. This book heralds such solutions, designs which may be just as good but, for whatever reason, were never realized.
