The Birmingham County FA Senior Cup competition is one of the oldest football knockout competitions in the world. First contested in the 1876-77 season, it has been competed for in every season since, apart from the interruptions caused by two world wars. Part One, covering the period 1876 to 1905, was published in 1999 and featured a comprehensive season-by-season review of the first 29 seasons of the competition's history. This included dates, results, attendances and venues for all games, during a period when the professional clubs such as Albion, Blues, Walsall, Wolves & Villa entered their first teams in the competition. Part Two covers the period from 1905 to 2016 and details the following:- A brief history of the competition since 1876 Every Birmingham Senior Cup match since 1905 (including dates), nearly 3,500 results Line ups and scorers for all Finals since 1905 A summary of all Finals since 1876, including dates, venues and attendances An index of 309 competing clubs in their 360 various guises, from the 1st Warwickshire Rifle Volunteers to Wrockwardine Wood A summary of each season in which each club took part.
