Billy Buckman was a young thirteen year old white boy from the ghetto. Since the people who lived in the low class ghetto were predominantly white, Billy never got a chance to be around African American people. The only black people who stayed in the ghetto were the ones who the rest of the African Americans consider as poor black trash or white Honkie lovers. Even being considered as poor black trash would get you more respect than any white man. Most of the African Americans here in Chicago lived in the high class suburban parts of the city. Billy had often heard stories about how his ancestors’ was beaten, raped, and mistreated by the black slave masters. Some stories were so bad that it made Billy want to cry sometime. Billy often had dreams of one day having a white president of the United States, but as of now white people are not eligible to even vote. This book is not written to attack white people, this book was written to be served as an eye opener to let the world have a vision of what the world would be like if the Racism shoe was on the other foot.
