About the Author

Mark Taylor and Jan Yalich Betts' adventure began more than 40 years ago when they met in high school art class. They reconnected again on Facebook and discovered that they were geographically hundreds of miles apart and had full lives totally unrelated to anything they had done in art class so long ago. Mark lives in an urban setting with a creative corporate job and music as his life-long passion. He has never seen a real live moose. Jan lives in Idaho where moose are welcome visitors in her back yard. After posting a photo of a moose visit on her Facebook page, Mark shared with her that he told a bedtime story about a moose to his granddaughter.
