I spent some time trying to fathom why I wrote 'Murkmyre'. I tried to work out if it was a homage, a spoof, or something else entirely. In the end, I decided it was what it was - a silly 90,000 words of (hopefully) humorous booky wook, with some funny pictures thrown in for good measure. Though it is set in a science-fictiony, futuristic environment this is hopefully irrelevant; at times it reads like nothing more than a pan-galactic bitching session between Prince Voltron and his legion of enemies. Anyway, some of you have very kindly told me you like 'Murkmyre', so hopefully other readers will to. Then go read 'Nocturnia', the sequel. No pressure. xxx.
