About the Author

SILVIA ESCAMILLA was born in Tehuantepec, Michoacán, Mexico and was brought to the United States as a child. She has had to work hard most of her life in the agriculture industry, yet still is passionate about creating stories and telling them to children. Princess Ruby and Her Journey To Find Her One True Love is her first published book and hopes to continue to share many of her other stories with children all over the world. Silvia lives on her ranch in Washington State with her husband Jose. She most enjoys working in her garden, attending church, and spending time with her grandchildren. Th is book was inspired by her four children Luis Manuel, Esmeralda, Cristal, and Ruby.
