Little Amber Ellens is too small for her age and has a heart three times too big for its size. She is poor and doesn't have much, but it doesn't stop her from sharing whatever she has and helping others whenever she can. Kids her age make fun of her for her rags and lack of toys until they learn the truth about her. Her acts of kindness may just touch the lives of those around her after all and teach them not to judge people for what they don't have, but to judge them for the heart they do have. Reading level: Grades 3 and up. ** Fifty percent of the royalties from the sale of this book will be donated to the Associated Humane Societies**

Natalie Carlisle has been writing since she was a little girl but mostly short stories and poetry. It wasn't until her children's literature class in college that she really considered writing a children's book. She just didn't know what to write about until she found a passion in donating to the Associated Humane Societies a few years ago. With her annual "Help The Animals" drive coming up, she decided to self-publish a book in hopes of reaching out to more people, in other states. By donating fifty percent of the royalties from the sale of this book, she's finally found a way of combining her love for art with her passion for helping others.
