Barnes is a critically acclaimed short film maker from Zenisphere Films. His cyberpunk short, Thieves, has been a major hit with indie bloggers and film festivals, garnering a Best Short of the Year nomination from the Mitten Movie Project. He also hates writing in third-person. He finds it incredibly pretentious and awkward. I'm actually from Eastpointe, but the word "Detroit" arguably has better market value. This 5 square mile pimple on the buttocks of Detroit is about as exciting as senior bingo night. I have to make up for it somehow. Maximum Dick the Shark Slayer is my debut novelette and I plan on churning out more insanity until someone clubs me over the head and turns my flesh into a tribal drum.
