A life-long St. Louis, Missouri resident, the author has lived in all parts of that city, but his formative years were spent in a then-unrecognized and unappreciated historic neighborhood that only after its decline got the recognition it was due. Growing Up In Old North St. Louis is that neighborhood's story.
