About the Author:

About the Author Tjitze de Jong was born on a farm in Friesland, The Netherlands in 1957. Having been employed in a variety of jobs, of which book trading and authorship were the most significant, he left the commercial sector behind to start a people orientated career by studying social work. After graduation, at the age of thirty two, he moved to Scotland to join the spiritual community of Findhorn, where life changed radically. In 1994 he made a conscious choice to become self-employed as a massage therapist. When he came across Barbara Brennan's book 'Hands of Light' and joined an introductory weekend in Denver, Colorado, the next step was an obvious one: to embark on the four year healing course of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. As a result the work became more specialised and reputation grew way beyond the British borders especially regarding cancer treatments. At present he lives and works in a tranquilly located home on the banks of River Findhorn, treating individual clients, focalising weekend workshops and running Tjitze's Energetic Cellular Healing School, which he founded in 2007. Its 'Bodies of Light' programme attracts students from all over Western Europe.
