About the Author
Albert Uderzo was born in 1927 in a small village in Marne, France. He met Rene Goscinny in 1951 and on 29 October 1959 their most famous creation, Asterix, made his first appearance on page 20 of Pilote. Asterix the Gaul, their first album, was published in 1961 and there have now been 38 Asterix albums, the 39th to come in October 2021.

DOGMATIX
The year is 50 BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely . . . One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders.
Dogmatix likes his freedom, and sometimes Obelix and Asterix lose sight of him. Have fun trying to track him down in the twelve scenes in this book. There are also several other characters to be found. But watch out! One of the characters always fails to turn up for roll-call.
