About the Author:
The author was born and raised in Beardstown, Illinois. Served in Naval Aviation and discharged Viet Nam Vet. 1965.Lives in Seattle, married, three children, BA from Univ. of Wash., 1974, with duel MBA''s from City Univ., 2000.He became interested in history at a young age, when collecting WWI and II items with his father, J.P. Morgan.He started reading the Plainsmen Series by the late Terry C. Johnston, which captivated his interest in the Indian Wars. Read extensively and toured Montana, Wyoming, North & South Dakota and Nebraska to locate and walk these sites. The richness for me is the research and then walking these Hollowed Grounds.Any journey always begins with... the first step!
