Hiram Corson (1828-1911) was an American professor of literature, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His teaching career included positions at Girard College, St. Johns College, Annapolis, and Cornell University. He also worked in the library of the Smithsonian Institution. As a professor, Corson's focus was Anglo-Saxon and English literature.
