Review:

'As a graduate of Ulster College of Physical Education, I read these lesson plans with pleasure. Any teacher following JIm Hall's advice on lesson planning will be ensuring that their pupils have a high quality of experience in physical education which should mean instilling in them a love of sport and physical activity for life.' Kate Hoey,MP. 'Jim Hall has done it again! His 'PE Lesson Plans' are a comprehensive, clear and easy to use resource. The books are a must for every busy primary teacher who wants to deliver quality PE lessons. The children love the lessons, too!' Sue Carleton, Headteacher, Grange First School, Harrow. 'The second edition of the invaluable Leapfrogs PE Lesson Plans books is a flexible and important resource for any class teacher, ensuring that the pupils have active and well-structured PE opportunities. The addition of a CD with all lesson plans and teaching notes adds to the user-friendly quality of the seven books.' Neill Handley, Deputy Head, Ealing Junior School, and formerly a PE co-ordinator. "These lesson plans are a godsend for those of us with no specialism in PE in the primary School. Each covers a whole year from Foundation Stage to Year 6." The Teacher 'Jim Hall's books are a must for every NQT as they tell them all they need to know about delivering quality gymastics, dance and games lessons.' Reception Class NQT,London Primary School. Jim Hall has done it again! His PE Lesson Plans are a comprehensive, clear and easy to use resource. The books are a must for every busy primary teacher who wants to deliver quality PE lessons. The children love the lessons, too!' Headteacher, Harrow First School 'This series of books provides an invaluable collection of appropriate, meaningful, and tried and tested plans that meet NC requirements. Each book builds on previously acquired knowledge, skills and understanding.' Senior Lecturer, Physical Education, Roehampton University. 'The books are a truly excellent resource for primary teachers. They contain well structured, step by step, exciting lessons, ideal for the non-P.E. specialist. The additional teaching notes help teacher challenge and develop children's skills. I recommend them highly.' Infant School P.E. Co-ordinator 'My teachers and I like the way the lessons follow on from year to year. The clearly described lessons and notes make the work accessible to all teachers. Material such as this is unobtainable elsewhere, particularly for Reception pupils.' Ealing Infant School Head. 'The lesson plans and their accompanying notes are a real life-saver and time-saver. They are popular because most teachers don't know about the subject to do the work themselves. They are a great support where support is needed.' London Infant School Head. 'The books provide a scheme which is a non-specialist's dream. Their framework provides explicit guidance, and they are a great springboard for more confident teachers to be creative in their lessons.' Primary School P.E. Co-ordinator. 'They provide an easy to follow, excellent layout. Supply teachers find them particularly helpful when they are required to teach physical education.' West London Primary School Head.
