Rubart does something few religious authors do: He brings ancient, forgotten happenings in the Bible into the contemporary scene. With careful use of Scripture, he reminds the reader that God and the Holy Spirit are not bound by distance and time. He portrays miracles and the power of prayer through the actions of average characters in an enlightening fashion. This book is provocative in its material. It forces the reader to consider components of God's nature not normally focused on. References in the story line to sci-fi movies helps tie biblical references to bending time and space in order to enter souls. A trio of young people follows a wounded leader named Reece to a retreat in the mountains where he teaches them how to be warriors for souls and how to enter souls to set them free. The three must overcome their own demons, as must Reece, on the way to the final lesson. Readers with high blood pressure or heart conditions be warned: this is a seriously heart-thumping and satisfying read that goes to the edge, jumps off, and "builds wings on the way down."--Publishers Weekly
