Weil es während des Tages sehr heiß war, so hatte ich mir die Nacht zur Reise nach Ovi ken ausersehen, und fuhr um 3 Uhr Abends ab. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend nur die Mücken peinigten mich! Etwas in diel'er wasser reichen Gege'nd, doch war das Kinderspiel ge. Gen illes, was ich von ihrer furchtbaren Ober herrlichkeit über den majestätischen Menschen noch lernen sollte. Der Anfang dieses schon bekannten Weges bis an Jerpeschanze und den Sand ist sehr schön. Im Abendglame wie Instig lag der See Liden mit seinen Inseln und Waldspitzen da! Auch mein liebes und gastli ches Nordhallen sah ich mit froher Erinnerung wieder. Nachher bis Upland geht der Weg hök kerig durch Hügelwald, man fährt eine Kupfer garmacherei am Strom vorbei und hat das er ste Häll.
