About the Author

Chairman of the marketing department at University of Texas at Arlington for 32 years. He has been an instructor for more than 40 years and is the recipient of several awards for outstanding teaching. McDaniel has also been a district sales manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Currently, he serves as a board member of the North Texas Higher Education Authority and is a member of the American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Southern Marketing Association, Southwestern Marketing Association, and Western Marketing Association. In addition to Marketing, McDaniel has authored or co-authored over 50 textbooks, and his research has appeared in such publications as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the California Management Review. McDaniel is co-owner of a marketing research firm and has been a consultant to the International Trade Centre. Joe Hair is Founder and Senior Scholar of the Coles College DBA Program at Kennesaw State University. He has authored over 40 books, including market leaders Multivariate Data Analysis, Prentice-Hall, 7th edition, 2010, cited 22,000+ times; and Principles of Marketing, Thomson Learning, 12th edition, 2013, used at over 600 universities globally. He also has numerous publications in journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business/Chicago, Journal of Advertising Research, and Journal of Retailing. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Society for Marketing Advances. In 2011 he was recognized as the Academy of Marketing Science Marketing Educator of the year, in 2009 he was the Academy of Marketing Science/Harold Berkman Lifetime Service Award recipient, in 2007 he was named the Innovative Marketer of the Year by the Marketing Management Association, and in 2004 he received the Academy of Marketing Science Outstanding Marketing Teaching Excellence Award. Charles W. Lamb, Jr., served as chair of the department of marketing at the M. J. Neeley School of Business from 1982 to 1988 and again from 1997 to 2003. He is currently chair of the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and is a former president of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Southwestern Marketing Association. Lamb has authored or co-authored more than a dozen books and anthologies on marketing topics and over 150 articles that have appeared in academic journals and conference proceedings. In 1997, he was awarded the prestigious Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Research and Creative Activity at TCU. This is the highest honour that the university bestows on its faculty. Other key honours he has received include the M. J. Neeley School of Business Research Award, selection as a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science, and a Fellow of the Southwestern Marketing Association.
