The strategy emphasis leaped out (4 chapters vs. the typical textbook's single strategy chapter) and leadership was also clearly emphasized (less in chapter terms than in style). Other distinctive content was on networking (largely absent in other textbooks) and on performance management which had a more practical emphasis than the typical chapter or half chapter on control, which I liked again."
