Demy 8vo 8¾" x 5½"(221x 142mm). 285 pp and selection of 8glossy black and white photographs to the rear. Burgundy boards with silver detail and titles to the spine. Sharp corners and clean boards. Wood engraving to front of dust jacket by Joan Hassell. Anthology with one paper in French by Claude Cuénot. See seller image for other contents. A literary quarterly which was first published in 1940 by a group of six schoolboys. Contributors included Arthur Machen, Nicolas Berdyaev, Jean Cocteau, and WH Auden among others. Jacket is unclipped at 25s and has only the faintest hint of wear at the spine head and a touch of very light wear. Approaching near fine.
