About the Author:

Ed Carson has accepted an Adjunct role and is currently Adjunct Professor of Social Policy at the University of South Australia. He was previously Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of South Australia. He was awarded Honorary Life Membership of the South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS) in 2010 in recognition of his services to SACOSS social policy activities and in 2011 he was elected President of the Australian and New Zealand Third Sector Research Association (ANZTSR).
