About the Author

B. Sharon Byrd is Professor at the School of Law, Friedrich Schiller University, Jena. She is the author of an Introduction to Anglo-American Law I, 2nd edition (2001) and the co-editor, with Joachim Hruschka, of Kant and Law (2006). Joachim Hruschka is Professor at the School of Law, University of Erlangen. He is the author of Strafrecht nach logisch-analytischer Methode (1983, 1988) and of a number of articles on Kant's philosophy of law.
