About the Author

Radim Malinic is a creative director and designer living and working in South West London. He is the founder of Brand Nu®, an award-winning branding and creative studio working across a broad spectrum of clients. From individuals and emerging startups all the way to multinational corporates, Brand Nu combines visually rich design, creativity and strategy in its work for the big brands of the future.
Before finding his calling in the creative industry, Czech-born Malinic was an ice hockey player, a bassist in death metal bands, an indie DJ, a music journalist and a student of economics and business management. At the break of the new millennium, Malinic moved to the UK to explore the expansive music scene, only to find even an even greater interest in art and graphic design. Since then his eclectic interests have seen him working with some of the biggest brands, companies and bands in the world. Clients include Harry Potter Platform 9 3/4, 007 Store, Coca Cola, Google, Adobe Systems, WWF and USAID among many others. Whatever the project, his central belief is to help clients achieve their objectives by delivering the best work possible.
Alongside his studio work, Malinic designs products for his brand November Universe, and tours design events and universities globally to give talks that aim to inspire and support self-development in the creative industries.
In March 2016, Malinic released his debut publication, Book of Ideas, which reached number one in Amazon s graphic arts section. The book has helped novices and professionals across the world find a new way of approaching their creative work. A follow-up in the series, Book of Ideas Volume 2 was released in September 2018.
