About the Author

Susan Blanshard was born in Hampshire, England. She is an internationally acclaimed poet, essayist and best-selling author. Susan is English Translator-Poet for 8 award-winning bilingual poetry books for the winner of the Cikada Award for poetry. She is a Committee member for PEN International Women's Writers and a foundation member of Asian Pacific Writers and Translators. She has written more than 40 books: poetry, short stories, non fiction, fiction and poetic prose. Susan has a background as Senior Copywriter. Bruce Blanshard is of French descent. A Writer and Visual Artist. Bruce has authored over 30 works of non-fiction. He has designed, produced and published work for Vietnamese Writers. Bruce has a background as an award-winning Executive Creative Director. They spent eight years in living in Hanoi, Danang Beach and Phu Quoc Island and have written four travel books on Vietnam. Susan and Bruce return regularly to visit their Vietnamese friends and eat on the streets.
