Founded over a decade ago, the National Historic Route 66 Federation is the worldwide, nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring Route 66.
The organization spearheaded the Congressional bill that allocated $10 million to business owners along the route and it produces an International Route 66 Festival each year in a selected Route 66 community averaging 50,000 in attendance.
