Len Losik, Ph.D earned his 5th Dan Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do almost simultaneously from two different Masters and a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Soo Bahk later. Dr. Losik is highly educated and uses his Korean self-defense training and his academic education where he earned a B.S. degrees in Physics Mathematics simultaneously, an M.A. in Electrical Engineering an M.S. in Education and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering to provide the information for new and advanced students advancing in their Korean self-defense knowledge and skills demonstrating Dr. Losik is competent in the training, learning and teaching as a martial arts student Instructor and Master Instructor. Dr. Losik trained in martial arts for over 30 years as a student, Instructor and Master Instructor in many schools teaching Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do. Dr. Losik authored over 30 articles and editorials in several major martial arts magazines including Black Belt, Dojang and Tae Kwon Do Times. Dr. Losik also wrote and published over 30 books on Korean martial arts and Eastern thought that were translated in many languages on topics including the early Korean Kwan's, Korean self-defense Instructors, Korean Kwan founders, national and international Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do organizations, meditation, Confucius, the Tao Te Chang and Zen/Eastern philosophy.
