"What your mama wouldn't tell you and your boyfriend doesn't know..."
That's what's on every page of this sometimes shocking, always revealing, compulsively readable compilation of responses to the Great American Sex Quiz. Discover what mothers, wives, daughters, and grandmothers think as King and Peterson empower them to unleash their sexual proclivities with questions such as:

How would you describe great sex?
How many sexual partners have you had?
Do you like to talk dirty?
What do you consider the most forbidden form of sex?
Do you practice safe sex? All the time?
Have you ever cheated on a lover?

Do you want to know what women do in private? How other women experience sexual intimacy? Compare notes with your own attitudes and experiences? Or just be a voyeur? What The Good Girls' Guide to Great Sex  reveals will be an education to everyone who's curious about sex--in other words, everyone!

Deep-six the title and enjoy the responses to a 200-question sex survey completed by thousands of American women of all ages. They candidly dish up memories and fantasies about first times, worst times, best sex, group sex, kinky sex, sex toys, hickeys, orgasms, hot talk, weird spots, forbidden sex, likes, dislikes, and answered prayers. Like the acts it exalts, the book steams at times and stalls at others. But its first-person testimony neatly challenges the notion that great sex, recent or recalled, depends on physical perfection and youth. Surely all these women aren't models--some are bound to be neighbors, pals, and women we see strolling by.
