This book covers the six-cylinder Aston Martin DBS from 1967 through to the Aston Martin Vantage Volante of 1989, including the two prototype Aston Martin DBS cars 266 1R and 266 2L. Following an introduction which documents the history and various locations of Aston Martin and the key players involved in the company, it also includes: the four-door Aston Martin Lagonda cars produced for just two years from 1974 to 1976 and of which there are only seven extant examples; the unique prototype built in 1969 for David Brown (the JPP 5G); race versions include the RHAM-001; Earls Court Show Cars; Prince of Wales Specification Aston Martin Vantage Volante. The colour and black-and-white photographs show external, internal and engine details.
