Gay Baldwin is well-known as the most informed expert on the ghostly history of this very welcoming Island. -- The Journal of The Ghost Club Society.
More Ghosts of the Isle of Wight contains a remarkably rich pattern of ghost stories for old and young alike. -- Journal of the Australian Folklore Association
When I decided to write this follow-up to "Ghosts of the Isle of Wight" I was concerned that it might be difficult to find enough stories to make the project worthwhile. I needn't have worried. Accounts of new hauntings came flooding in. At one stage I began to think it was remarkable to find a house without a ghost of some sort.
In the years since the first book was published, attitudes to ghosts and the supernatural have undergone a considerable change. People of all ages are interested in the subject and willing to keep an open mind on something they don't understand.
