This book is meant as a handy reference guide for students who have had "Introductory Akkadian". Part I gives nominal and verbal paradigms based on "Old Babylonian". Part II "Helps" offers additional grammatical, and other data (numerals, conjunctions, prepositions, abbreviations). Part III is a Glossary of Proper Names (a selection of months, mountains, gods, cities, stars, etc.). Parts IV "Logograms" and V, "Sign List" are based on the lists of R. Labat and R. Borger, and compare them in concordances. This book is designed as a bridge between introductory Akkadian grammars and full grammars to "streamline" the progression from signs to transliteration to normalization to translation.
