About the Author:
Heinrich Mann (1871-1950), frere aine de Thomas Mann, fut ecrivain et dessinateur. Oppose a l empire et, plus tard, au nazisme, ainsi qu admirateur de la France, il fuira la guerre pour mourir en solitude aux Etats-Unis. Parmi ses ecrits, "L Ange bleu" a ete egalement publie chez Grasset (2008).
