About the Author:

Sally Grindley is the author of many best-selling titles including Why is the Sky Blue? (Andersen) and I Don't Want To (Methuen). Shhh! won the Children's Book Award and was shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize - as was Peter's Place (both Andersen). Her most recent Kingfisher titles, The Giant Postman and Captain Pepper's Pets, are published as part of the I Am Reading series.
