No one, Clara believes, can tell you how to draw. Instead you can learn by practising and discarding preconceived ideas. Clara uses artists who inspire her, to demonstrate how everyone's approach is unique and features images of her favourite drawings and sketchbooks, to spark your creativity.
Chapters focus on the different media of Graphite, Charcoal, Coloured Crayons, Ink and Mixed Media and offer tips such as where to start on the page and how to best use your materials.
With space for 30 days of drawing, to be done in whichever order you'd like, Drawing & Seeing will allow you to keep your own sketchbook, a drawn diary of your daily life - and to see how not only your drawing transforms, but also the way you see your surroundings.

About the Author
Artist Clara Drummond was awarded first prize for the BP Portrait Award in 2016, In 2017 Drummond was commissioned by Her Majesty the Queen to do an Order of Merit portrait which is now part of the Royal Collection. In addition she was awarded the Bulldog Trust Award by the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Young Artist of the Year award by the Society of Women Artists. She is a tutor at The Royal Drawing School.
