In Readings, I have tried to bring together, into one volume, key excerpts from some of most useful and insightful material that is currently available on school teaching. The book stands alone as a unique resource. However, there may be added value from following up its links to the chapters and discussions contained in the Reflective Teaching handbook.
The collection represents the work of several generations of educators and researchers - though, even with 120 readings, it has not been possible to include all the excellent material that is available.
