Once upon a time, there were three billy goats who lived on a rocky hillside. Over the bridge was a wonderful meadow, full of sweet, green grass. Under the bridge lived a fierce troll. All the goats had to do was cross the river...
In re-telling this familiar and well-loved tale, Jonathan Langley manages to remain faithful to tradition while investigating both words and pictures with wit and exuberance.
