Andrew R. Gray is associated with The Manchester Museum’s Department of Zoology where he specialises in herpetology, and more specifically neotropical frogs. He is the Curator of the Museum’s Vivarium and Aquarium and his work at The University of Manchester also involves research and teaching. Here, he has established a unique research collection of rare amphibians. He is the amphibian co-ordinator for the Zoological Federation’s Taxon Advisory Group and is actively involved in developing breeding programmes aimed at conserving endangered species of amphibians.
