Review:
"."..engaging and very English contemporary romance... Ashley's charming prose makes the journey enjoyable."" - Publishers Weekly

"."..her plucky characters keep picking themselves up and pushing on to their happy endings... this tale has its own, Bridget Jones-style appeal."" - Booklist

""Quirky and fun, Carrie Goes Off the Map is a pleasant mix of beach read and Brit chick lit...an appealing and realistic male lead, whose eyes will smolder even for the reader."" - RT Book Reviews

"."..the characters and story are fun and the read is light and easy."" - Martha's Book Shelf

""Phillipa Ashley is always a surefire bet for three things (1) an awesome romance with plenty of angst and chemistry (2) humor that keeps you laughing and (3) character who are easy to love, laugh and identify with. Carrie Goes Off the Map is definitely the perfect example of that. I can't wait for whatever Phillipa Ashley does next."" - Books Like Breathing

"."..a delightful book with great characters, romance, and a wonderful journey. Phillipa Ashley has become one of my new favorite contemporary romance authors."" - Laura's Reviews

""ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. I love Phillipa Ashley's writing style and her romances are so wonderfully put together, you find yourself taken away to another place with them... I so enjoy these romances since they really have a perfect balance of humor with interesting characters and dialog. Now, I am patiently waiting for Ashley to write me another story."" - Bookhounds

""Much like Elizabeth Bennet and her Mr. Darcy, Carrie and her doctor's relationship gets off to a rocky start with plenty of bickering and misunderstandings, but you cheer them on from the very beginning. Really, if your fiance broke up with you weeks before your wedding, what could be better than traveling around coastal England with a sexy doctor? This book is a wonderful escape for lovers of British chick lit."" - Donna Feddern

"."..delivers on the premise of a crazy cross-country trip, with a fun main character and a sexy leading guy."" - I'm Booking It

""Overall, this was a great read! I'd recommend this book to people who enjoy travel, England, quirky characters, and romance. I'll definitely be pursuing more Phillipa Ashley books...a nice, happy read that will warm your heart during these chilly, wintery months. Happy reading!"
