About the Author:

Brian and Wilma Rittershausen came from a family of orchid experts that has had an orchid nursery in Devon, England, since the 1940s. Their international reputation is reflected in a clientele as far-flung as Australia. They have lectured and written on orchids and have published a number of important books on the subject. Wilma wrote regularly for various orchid magazines for 15 years and was editor of The Orchid Review, the official orchid journal of the Royal Horticultural Society. Brian is a British Orchid Council and Royal Horticultural Society judge, while the nursery consistently exhibits Gold Medal displays at the Chelsea Flower Show.
