Synopsis
This is a rocket novelty book for young children, counting down from ten to one until blastoff! For each number there's a mechanism of some kind, a door to open, a dial to turn or a tab to pull. About the Author
Nick Sharratt is a popular children's book artist, well known for illustrating the books of Jacqueline Wilson. He has also written and illustrated many of his own books including My Mum and Dad Make Me Laugh (9780744594997), Once Upon a Time... (9780744594270) and Pirate Pete (9781844289981) as well as Eat Your Peas, which won the 2001 Children's Book Award and Pants, which won the picture book category of the 2003 Children's Book Award and was shortlisted for the Greenaway Prize. Nick lives in Brighton.
