Subsequent chapters instruct readers on how to use the markup languages and cutting-edge technologies to create a variety of web sites and address design and development concerns. Many books teach mark-up languages in isolation from each other, when in practice they are used together. XML, HTML, XHTML Magic showcases how real people solve problems and address concerns regarding how web sites are built. The angle is real-world, but progressive in that it follows a sophisticated approach to markup, style sheets, and integration of other technologies such as PHP, WAP, and WML.

About the Author
Molly E. Holzschlag is an author, instructor, and designer who brings warmth and enthusiasm to her books, lectures, and web sites. Widely known for her recent stint at WebReview.com as Executive Editor, and honored as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women on the web, Molly has spent more than a decade working in the online world. She has written and contributed to 18 books about web design and markup languages. Molly holds a master of arts in media studies from the New School for Social Research. She is also a digital artist, a creative writer, and a musician playing with the original acoustic duo Courage Sisters.
