Copious black and white illustrations. The symbolist movement in European art; includes discussions of the works of Redon, van Gogh, Munch, Rodin, Klimt, Seurat, Klinger and Ensor. 286 pages, heavy stock. Condition: Very Good +: The spine is square with slight pinching on the heel, else is unmarked. The front board is clean. The rear board is clean. The board corners are sharp, but show very slight rubbing. The board edges are clean. The ffep shows a small partially erased pencil notation in the upper right hand corner. The rear free end paper shows slight smudging along the left hand edge. All other pages are white and unmarked. The page edges show about a dozen faint tiny spots, else are clean. The book is tightly bound. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good: Price clipped. The front shows some edge pinching and rubbing. The back shows some edge pinching and rubbing. The spine shows pinching on the ends and mild rubbing. The front panel is clipped, else clean. The back panel is clean. This book will be shipped after receipt of payment in an archival bag and bubble wrapped in a new box with a USPS tracking number.
