Test examples and speciment exam questions are provided, along with many explanatory diagrams. This book is written primarily for those with a good general engineering background who have had little experience in instrumentation and control. It favours marine engineering, but students and engineers in other industries should find it a useful reference as the subject has a common basis. The text is presented from basic principles, using analogues where appropriate.
