The late David Conover was a dreamer. He passed away in 1983 but not before authoring four books. Once Upon an Island was first published in 1967 and gained international acclaim. David is also credited with "discovering" Norma Jean (aka Marilyn Monroe) while she was working in an airplane assembly plant in Long Beach, California where he was stationed as a photographer for the Army during World War II.Review:
