Synopsis
Three generations of criminals...The grandfather was born a thief The father was raised a thief So it's only natural that the son thinks like a thief; after all, it is a FAMILY BUSINESS The McMullens are a mongrel breed. Jessie, half Irish, half Cherokee, was born in New York's Hell's Kitchen and instinctively thinks with his fists. Vito, his son, is half Italian and knows all the skills connected with slippery fingers. W/son Adam is half Italian, half Jewish, but one hundred per cent street-smart. Given their geneology, it's not surprising they're an argumentative family. So to promote peace within the clan they decide to pull off a heist which will make them all rich quick. But family unity is put to the test when the robbery doesn't go as planned and the only way to escape the slammer is to shop your father... or son.

About the Author
Vincent Patrick has a work background appropriate for a novelist’s book jacket. Born in the Bronx, New York, he finished both high school and engineering college at night and has had a remarkable range of jobs. He’s been a door-to-door Bible salesman, bartender, restaurant owner, Standard-bred Pacer owner, vice-president of an engineering consulting firm, teacher in a community college (writing fiction in the off-hours from his late teens.) After the publication of his first novel, The Pope of Greenwich Village, he wrote screenplays for many years, including the script for the movie, The Pope of Greenwich Village (with Micky Rouark and Eric Roberts). He also wrote the screenplay for the movie of his this, his second novel, Family Business (Sean Connery, Dustin Hoffman and Mathew Broderick, Directed by Sidney Lumet).
