Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition octavo hardcover of light olive cloth, stamped in black on the spine. Very good plus condition with a very mildly bumped upper front corner and some edge and spine fading. Small gift inscription in ink at the top of the ffep. Square, clean, tightly bound and otherwise unmarked. Lacking the dust jacket. Introduction by NIka Standen Hazelton. She says that she first encountered Korean food at the 1964 New York World's Fair, at a small Korean Restaurant there, and was so struck by its deliciousness, and uniqueness, that she ate her way through the whole menu. She pursued it further, and recommends this book and its coverage of Korean food and cooking in "The Land of the Morning Calm", as a fine way to learn about and cook authentic Korean Food. 294 pp. Cooking, Cookbooks, Korean Food.
